Reviens-Moi

Recently discovered this song by an artist named 'Tina'....... And, the first thing that I said to myself was: pretty rhythmic. I loved it. This was released a while back and I might just be a new fan of this gal.

Tae Kwon Do

When I was younger, I was much of a Tae Kwon Do geek, but for some reason, I had to stop. I had the best times ever. I'm thinking about going back to it. Tornado Kick. All that. Makes me wonder what if I had never stopped.

I remember when I thought that Tae Kwon Do was easy. Actually, it looks easy. But, after the first week, I wanted to call it quits. It turned out there was something more to this Tae Kwon Do than I had thought. What they expected was discipline. Gee. As a kid, I was as hard-headed as any teenager could be. I never listened to anyone. But, those months in Tae Kwon Do made me realize that without discipline, things get a whole lot sloppy, not just in the studio, but in life as well. So, yes, Tae Kwon Do did change me. It changed me for the better. It taught me the importance of self-discipline.

Mahatma Ghandi

The world's most wisest men in the world may have disagreed in a lot of things, but if you look to the core of many of their messages, laziness is a terrible trait.

A Little Lesson From Mr. Einstein

I used to be one of those people who was afraid to make mistakes. I used to be shy in asking questions, but that was exactly why in school I didn't learn as much as I wanted to. But, if only I knew what I know now, I would have done things a lot different. See, it doesn't matter even if the question may seem embarrassing. What's more embarrassing is not knowing what you were curious about hours later, days later, months later, or even years later.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

I personally like this movie because of it's simplicity. No hoopla and it molds the shape of the making of a hero through the tutelage of a mentor. This brought back memories of writing school. Ah, great memories indeed.

Nicholas Cage has that aura in him that makes you want to watch his movies. I don't mean about his acting. One can argue that he is or isn't the greatest actor today. But, he does have the special grabbing trait that makes you want to come back and watch his movies anyway, regardless of what you think of him as an actor.

Critics gave this movie an average review in 2010, but I personally like the movie because it just somehow goes together smoothly to conclude the hero's journey. And, by doing that, it exceeds expectations. I am proud to call this as one of my most favorite movies of all time.

One of my most favorite quotes:

Whenever I feel like I've failed, I revert back to this quote from Henry Ford. He is one of my heroes, a legendary entrepreneur who revolutionized business forever.

When you hear a song from back in the day

It brings back memories.

Dear Readers:

I have revamped my official blog. I decided that it needed a boost and should no longer be ignored. It's a good place to write some random thoughts, actually, so expect to see more posts in this site. When I mean random, I mean random.
